Last Frontier Memoir in the News

MS News Today is my favorite go-to for the latest information on multiple sclerosis. Imagine the thrill I had to be a feature story in their news last week. Fellow author, Hawken Miller, wrote the article “Writer Recalls MS Odyssey While Living on the ‘Last Frontier,” which is about my multiple sclerosis and Alaska story.

Hawken and I had delightful conversations by phone several times over the past couple of months for the article. If you want to know more about how I managed to live in remote Alaska with multiple sclerosis, check out his post on MS News Today.

The Call of the Last Frontier Fan Photos from Melissa Billups

People worldwide have sent me fun photos of my memoir, The Call of the Last Frontier.  Melissa Billups of Alaska Adventure Photography sent me these beautiful photos from the Mosquito Books (business) at the Anchorage Airport. I adore Mosquito Books (FB) and have visited their store many times, wondering if someday I’d write a book that might sit on their shelf.
